the Café
if you or somebody you know enjoy(s) music, poetry and games then the MC Café is the place for you. Come hang out with us on the last Friday of every month where you can listen, laugh and play as MC hosts the talented folks in our lil' neck of the woods. Offering up rhythm, rhyme and harmony are just a few items on the menu. So if you are thinking of auditioning for the next run on American Idol (because let's face it, nobody really watches Canadian Idol do they) we have a stage, spotlight and a hot, open mic waiting for you.
theRefrain
therefrain: a creative force of struggling mumblers, unified by the belief that life must be worth living, that there is more to be seen, tasted, touched, felt and heard then our society has presented to us. We gather regularily under rocks and in pockets of silence. We welcome all who are tired of solitary despair in an attempt to find hope in creative expression through community.
